The 25mile-long island of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos chain is home to Stanford Handfield, artist and owner of Fisherman Marine Art. Stanford was born and raised surrounded by the Caribbean sea and has learned to live simply, using the resources from the Turks and Caicos ocean environment.
He developed a conch shell business utilizing these ocean resources and making these natural items available in the Turks & Caicos Islands and beyond.
Stanford free dives for the sea shells he sells. His main business deals in using the most common shell found in Turks and Caicos Islands, the Conch shell, to create unique, beautiful and useful pieces of Art.

Item 1- Caribbean Conch Shell
Cleaned, polished and glimmering whole shells.
Shells measure 7-9" size. Great decorative pieces. Useful as paperweights, vases, flower pots, bookends and doorstops.
A slice through the conch shell showing the delicate and amazing natural colors. Useful as a business card, letter, or napkin holder. This polished piece stands alone.
Conch bowls can be used to adorn your table as a centerpieces filled with fresh flowers or as dishes to serve up conch salad or conch chowder which you will experience at the Tiki Hut Restaurant on Provo.
Unique planters with trailing foilage hung with a macrame hanger or standing free. The center is cut out so there is room inside and the bottom is leveled so it can stand freely.
