ABOUT THE COMPANY Catch the Wave Charters is a local bone fishing and boat charter owned and operated by Edward Missick. Born and raised on North Caicos, Edward has been boating in the Turks and Caicos Islands since age 6 when he tagged along with his fisherman father. Commercial fishing and cruising became his way of life and Edward has made his livelihood from this for the past 10 years. Edward had been working for other fishing and tour operators for all this time with a dream to run his own business. Dreams always seem to come true in the Turks and Caicos. EQUIPMENT
Catch the Wave Charters has a beautiful 26 foot Platinum 260 Catamaran Power Boat named Shauna-Rae, after his first daughter. This new water craft has plenty of sun and shade area, changing room, portapotty, fresh water shower, easy access to and from the water. With a 200 hp engine, cruise the water in comfort and style. We easily accomodate 11 people. We are fully equipped with lifejackets, emergency first aid kit and small back up engine. Catch the Wave Charters can also provide a poling skiff with a 30hp for bone fishing in the shallows. |

Bone Fishing - Fishing for sport - catch and release with a fly rod or light tackle. Catch the Wave supplies the equipment, bait, skiff and fishing license. Either boat is used: the 26 foot catamaran boat or the poling skiff. It is suggested if you like to fly fish that you bring your own rod. If fly fishing from the skiff, the maximum capacity is 2 people. For the less experienced fisherperson, Edward will put a spin cast reel in your hands and position you in a large school of fish. Bottom Fishing - Go after snapper, mutton snapper or lean snapper in the power boat. |

Full
or Half Day to any island Public half day, full day and private charters available. All trips, include bottled water, soft drinks, snacks and Edwards famous rum punch. Full day trips include a BBQ lunch on the beach with maybe a fresh lobster or two. Remember to bring your hat, sunscreen and towel. Snorkeling gear and fishing equipment are provided.

Beach Cruise - Half day- Cruise between 4 islands, starting with the Iguana Island, then snorkel off the barrier reef, go shelling on Ft George Cay, see the cannons in the water and hear about the history of Fort George.
Cave Safari - Full day - Cruise to Middle Caicos. Tour the labyrinth of caves with the history narated by a native guide. Enjoy a plentiful BBQ on the beach. With hiking and biking trails, Middle Caicos is for the true explorer. Cruise home along the island coast snorkeling and shelling on the way home. |

Just say when! Ski on the flat glass water in Leeward Marina behind this state of the art boat. Skis are available or just go barefoot!

Bird Safari - Full day- Cruise to North Caicos or Middle Caicos to explore land and water. See lots of birds, including pink flamingos, ospreys, frigate birds and pelicans. Hear the history of the island from a native tour guide and find out about the loyalists. Visit Wade's Green, the remains of a cotton plantation . |
